XP95 mini switch monitor - DIN-rail
The XP95 mini switch monitor is included in the BOSEC B-9072-FD-954 EN54-13 certificate of the MD2400(L) analogue addressable fire detection system.
The XP95 mini switch monitor reports the status of a potential-free NO alarm contact and/or an NC fault contact to the MD2400(L) fire alarm control panel.As soon as the contact is switched, the fire alarm control panel will generate the corresponding alarm and/or fault message.
The cabling between the XP95 mini switch monitor and the contact is monitored for short circuits and open circuits using a EOL resistor at the contact.
The XP95 mini switch monitor is designed for use in appliances or housings with limited mounting space and is mounted on a standard 35mm DIN-rail via a "twist-click" movement.
The XP95 mini switch monitor is powered via het XP95 loop and does not require an external power supply.
The XP95 mini switch monitor is equipped with a built-in short-circuit isolator. The address is set using a DIP-switch.
The current consumption per MD2400 loop interface card XP95 is limited to maximum 100mA and per MD2400 high-power loop interface card XP95 to maximum 500mA.
