XP95 DIN-rail zone monitor with isolator
The XP95 zone monitor powers and controls the operation of a zone of up to 20 conventional detectors APOLLO SERIES 65 or ORBIS.
The XP95 zone monitor reports the status of a conventional fire detection zone to the MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panel. The cabling between the XP95 zone monitor and the conventional fire detection zone is monitored for short circuits and open circuits using a EOL resistor on the last detector. The MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panel will generate a corresponding message as soon as a fire alarm or fault message is detected.
The XP95 zone monitor is powered via the XP95 loop and does not require an external power supply. The XP95 DIN-rail zone monitor is equipped with a built-in short-circuit isolator. The address is set using a DIP-switch.
The current consumption per MD2400 loop interface card XP95 is limited to maximum 100mA and per MD2400 high-power loop interface card XP95 to maximum 500mA. The listed technical specifications are typical at 24V, 25°C and 50% RH unless otherwise stated.
