XP95 I.S. galvanic barrier and protocol translator in housing

The galvanic barrier with XP95 single channel protocol translator in backbox is included in the BOSEC B-9072-FD-964 EN54-13 certificate of the MD2400(L) analogue addressable fire detection system.

The XP95 intrinsically safe (I.S.) fire detectors are always used in combination with a galvanic barrier and XP95 single channel protocol translator.

The galvanic barrier with XP95 single channel protocol translator are mounted in a plastic housing and must be installed outside the hazardous area.

The galvanic barrier limits the power that is sent in the hazardous area and the XP95 single channel protocol translator transforms the protocol between the standard XP95 loop and the I.S. fire detectors in the hazardous area.

The number of XP95 I.S. fire detectors is limited to a maximum of 20 per galvanic barrier with XP95 single channel protocol translator.

The number of galvanic barriers with XP95 single channel protocol translator is limited to a maximum of 4 per XP95 loop.
