MD780 gas & CO detection control panel
The MD780 gas & CO detection control panel is appropriate to connect up to 8 external gas and/or CO detectors and operates in combination with the MD780 gas detector and the MD780 CO detector. The detected gas mixture is determined by the connected type of gas or CO detector.
The MD780 control panel is mounted in a plastic housing.The housing contains the console for operating the system, the power supply and provides the necessary space for the installation of two 12V 2.3Ah backup batteries.
The MD780 control panel is equipped with 3 adjustable alarm thresholds for gas detection and 4 adjustable alarm thresholds for CO detection. The alarm thresholds can be set individually for each zone.
The MD780 control panel is operated by means of the LCD with Touch screen. Each status of the control panel, such as "Alarm", "Fault" and "Disabled", is displayed via the LCD with Touch screen and by means of LED signalling.
The MD780 control panel has two access levels, the second level is password protected.
The logbook of the MD780 control panel can be consulted via the LCD with Touch screen and contains the last 500 messages and actions carried out.
The MD780 control panel is equipped with 6 freely programmable relay outputs, 2 freely programmable transistor outputs and 1 solid state relay. The MD780 control panel also has 2 external inputs assigned to the "Silence" and "Reset" functions.
With the help of the MD780 licensed configuration software, the MD780 control panel can be custom configured. The various system parameters, including the alarm thresholds per detector, the number and type of connected detectors, the assignment of the outputs to the various alarm and fault messages and the number of additonal relay cards, can be adapted.
