MD780 CO detector
The MD780 gas & CO detection control panel operates in combination with the MD780 CO detector for the detection of carbon monoxide gas, which is produced by poor combustion in heaters and can also be present in underground car parks as a result of emissions from motor vehicles.
The MD780 CO detector is mounted in a polypropylene housing. A maximum of one MD780 CO detector per zone can be connected to the MD780 control panel. The area that can be monitored by one MD780 CO detector is approximately 400m².
The MD780 operates on the fuel cell principle and sends a 4-20mA signal to the MD780 control panel. The analogue signal is determined in function of the measured CO concentration in the place and is interpreted and processed by the MD780 control panel in function of the set parameters.
