MD780 methane gas detector in housing
The MD780 gas & carbon monoxide detection control operates in combination with the MD780 gas detector. Depending on the calibration; the MD780 gas sensor can be used to detect methane, propane or butane.
The MD780 gas detector is mounted in a grey non-flammable nylon housing. The housing of the detector is composed of a base and a cover.
The MD780 gas sensors are based on the principle of catalytic combustion. The gas sensor is of high quality so that a minimum deviation, if ideal environmental parameters, is guaranteed.
The detectors are equipped with an active carbon filter to filter out any harmful gases.
The MD780 gas detector sends a 4-20mA signal to the MD780 control panel. The analogue signal is determined in function of the measured gas concentration in the place and is interpreted and processed by the MD780 control panel in function of the set parameters.
All the settings required to calibrate the MD780 gas sensor are located in the detector electronics. Both the commissioning of the system and the possible exchange of sensors during maintenance can therefore be carried out in a simple manner.
Attention, the testing with a non-calibrated gas will damage the gas sensor!
