MD2400 redundant repeater panel

The MD2400 repeater panel is integrated in a plastic housing. The MD2400 repeater panel duplicates the information as it is reported on the MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panel and offers the possibility to provide this information at different locations in the building. All messages on the MD2400 or MD2400L control panel are displayed simultaneously on the connected repeater panels.

The MD2400 repeater panel is a limited operator console, standard equipped with an LCD (4x40 characters), a number of visual indications (LED for fire alarm and fault), a number of membrane control buttons ("Silence", "Test LED", "System reset", "Evacuation Delayed" and scroll buttons), a built-in buzzer for the auditory signal, a key switch for setting the 2 access levels and a key switch for evacuation.

The communication between the MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panel and the MD2400 repeater panel is done by means of an RS485 I/O data bus.

The MD2400 repeater panel is available in 2 versions, namely the redundant repeater panel to be provided at the main entrance(s) of the building and/or the entrance(s) used by the emergency services and the non-redundant repeater panel for the visualization and the control from another location in the building.

Up to 8 MD2400 repeater panels can be connected to a MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panel. Attention, when connecting additional MD2400 repeater panels to a MD2400L fire alarm control panel, the capacity of the power supply of the MD2400L control panel must be taken into account !

The addressing of the MD2400 repeater panel is done binary by means of a DIP switch.
