MD2400 SIA modem interface
The MD2400 SIA modem interface for Central Monitoring Center is mounted on a standard 35mm DIN rail and can be connected directly to the I/O data bus of the MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panel.
The MD2400 SIA modem interface sends all messages from the MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panel, via the Extended SIA protocol, to a maximum of 2 monitoring centers. Per monitoring center, the choice of sending alarms and/or faults is available.
The MD2400 SIA modem interface sends general messages and detector-level messages. Detector messages are forwarded with the number of the fire alarm control panel and the number of the group, followed by a text message with the group and detector name.
The MD2400 SIA modem interface is equipped with a cyclic test that is sent to the monitoring center every day. The time of this test is adjustable.
