MD2400L Fire alarm control panel with redundancy Token-ring
The MD2400L, analogue addressable fire detection and fire warning system for buildings, has been designed in accordance with European Standards EN54-2:1997/A1:2006 and EN54-4:1997/A1:2002/A2:2006 and is BOSEC B-9072-FD-954 EN54-13 certified.
The MD2400L fire alarm control panel has a maximum capacity of 3 XP95 detection loops. A maximum of 126 addressable components can be connected on each loop. Communication with the connected detectors and devices is based on the digital XP95 protocol.
The various components of the MD2400 fire alarm control panel are mounted in a synthetic housing with a transparent door. The MD2400L central processing unit includes the main processor card, up to 3 XP95 loop interface cards, the relay card with 10 relays, the system's basic power supply and the Touch screen. The front of the MD2400L fire alarm control panel is equipped with a built-in 7'' colour Touch screen for operating the control panel and for displaying the messages of the system.
The MD2400L fire alarm control panel is equipped as standard with 10 relays, of which 2 monitored outputs, 1 Fail-safe relay for "Common fault", 1 relays for "Fault power supply" and 6 freely programmable relays with potential free change-over contacts.
The MD2400L fire alarm control panel can be connected in a network to other MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panels by means of the optional module "Redundancy Token-ring". Up to 32 MD2400 or MD2400L fire alarm control panels can be connected via the redundant Token-ring. This optional module also allows up to 2 redundant operator consoles to be connected to one MD2400L fire alarm control panel. The capacity of the power supply of the MD2400L fire alarm control panel must be taken into account. The optional module "Redundancy Token-ring" is mounted in a separate housing and must be placed immediately under the housing of the control panel.
The RS485 I/O bus also offers the possibility to connect an MD2400 SIA modem interface and an MD2400 interface ESPA 4.4.4 protocol.
The housing of the MD2400L fire alarm control panel offers space for two batteries with a maximum capacity of 12V 12Ah.
The MD2400L fire alarm control panel is programmed using a PC configuration software.
